ADAM’S PICKS
NEW:
Obviously it’s the new AFI record “Silver Bleeds the Black Sun.” I was a big fan of all the early AFI material up through “Sing the Sorrow” and this album hits a perfect spot for an aging millennial that’s come to fall in love with 80s goth and post punk. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS especially if you also enjoy Bauhaus, Echo and the Bunnymen, and Sisters of Mercy. You’ll even hear a few moments where Davey’s old vocals sneak out.
REISH:
Get your sword and axe because it’s LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy soundtracks! Clear vinyl reissues as a more affordable / compact package. I believe this is the first time they’ve been pressed outside of those big box sets from years ago. Matching artwork and including the Enya and Annie Lennox tracks.
